WHAT’S LEFT AND IS IT ENOUGH FOR YOU?
Almost a year and half into the pandemic and confined mostly to home office.
Let’s take a little inventory, of what we have here.
If you are a corporate professional, your life before was probably like this: commute to office, in-person-meetings, coffee-break-chat, printer-room-gossip, popping-by-colleagues, after-work-drinks, corporate-travel, client-dinners, off-sites, weekend-team-building, Christmas-party, just to name a few…
Even if the job itself was not ideal, it was a round package filled with social interactions, cool colleagues and all the activities and perks around it. Which made it fun or at least bearable.
Since home office, it’s zoom, work, zoom, work, zoom, work…
Now that all the perks, the social interactions are gone, and all what you do is really stripped down to the bare, naked, pure work content.
I challenge you: Now that all’s left is the pure job content. Do you still love what you do?
The economy is changing and what the pandemic has brought us is an unfathomable, accelerated digital development.
Where is your place in the world of business in the new normal? Do you want to let life figure it out for you, or do you want to figure it out for yourself?
“The best way to predict your future is to create it” – said Abraham Lincoln.
Now, that’s your job. Go, figure out what is that you want and create your happy future.
